Exciting New Recreation Complex Coming to Port Coquitlam
Ground-breaking will begin in spring 2017 for a new Community Recreation Complex in the downtown area south of Wilson Avenue, between Mary Hill Road and Kingsway Avenue.
The 205,000-square-foot complex will replace the outdated Port Coquitlam Recreation Complex, Wilson Centre and Terry Fox Library with a vibrant community hub. A range of recreational amenities and public spaces will be complemented by a residential and commercial development, to be built by the project’s developer next door on the site of the former works yard.

Accessible leisure pool with sloped entry and three 20m lanes
Three ice sheets: one spectator, one participant and one multi-purpose
Games room, lounge and kitchen with programming for youth and seniors
A variety of multi-purpose rooms
Terry Fox Library, integrated within the facility
A café
Child minding area
Fitness centre
Gymnasium
Outdoor plaza with seating, sport courts, amphitheatre and spray park
Sport medicine office
